Daily Mass

I have had a few people ask about daily Mass.    Even though the bishops aren't allowing us to let people in to celebrate Mass, they wanted to know if they could come and remain outside while daily Mass is being celebrated at St. Peter so they could pray in partial communion at least with the priest and server (seminarian David).  I should note that any visitors will not be able to receive Communion and that the Mass will still be celebrated inside the church building.  If parishioners want to do that, that is fine with me as long as people respect the social distancing requirements of remaining a minimum of 6 feet away from each other at all times.  The tricky part will be to come at the right time.  Because of the unusual circumstances, I have not been celebrating Mass at a  completely fixed time.  It is usually around 8:00 in the morning.  I will try to figure out how to ring the church bells a few minutes before Mass begins to cue anyone who does want to come and pray that Mass is beginning.
